Designed as a board that will suit the needs of advanced wingers, yet still be forgiving enough to work for beginners, it is an evolution of the SUNOVA foilboard wing.
With a narrower plan shape, flat bottom and hard edges this board planes effortlessly enabling the rider to get on foil super quick, even in marginal conditions. A pulled in nose, forward vee and hard beveled rails ensure you aren’t catching any edges when leaning hard into turns or boosting high.

Sunova Boards are based on 2 principles Board Construction and Board Design
Board Construction: Sunova has turned to using natural materials, like balsa and paulownia wood, which have enabled them to construct higher performing boards than could ever have previously been achieved with conventional materials.
Board Design: In addition, these natural materials have made it possible for the Sunova Team to implement new and radical designs into their boards. Like Bert’s own creation of “the Parabolic Rails”, which has revolutionized surfing technology and utilizes the forces of true surfing action occurring at the rails. Giving much more direct flex and spring by moving the mechanics to both rails and not relying on only the center stringer.

OUTLINE
Compact plan shape, to diamond tail. The outline of this board is quite compact, giving you all the area you need to bounce back up when landing lofty airs, whilst still being efficient enough to power out with speed.
RAILS
Chined with hard bottom edges. The entire board has a defined chine all the way along from nose to tail, from the front foot back, the edges are super hard which helps release water and get you flying. The bottom edge also has sufficient tuck, to prevent grabbing when tracking.
ROCKER
Flat with nose kick. The entry rocker is sufficient for jumping and getting up, the tail rocker is super flat right out the back to help with planning early.
BOTTOM
Subtle rounded V to flat. The subtle V at the front helps the board on touchdowns, it won’t immediately stick and bog. The flat planing surface allows the board to glide effortlessly and bounce back up quickly when landing more progressive moves.
DECK
Concave, with a number of different foot strap options. We have a concave deck to get the rider as close to the foil as possible while maintaining the volume needed. It's a soft concave without any drastic edges so it doesn't trap water on the deck after takeoff.
